02-25-2010 David Bouhier as Regional Director in the Southwest
Heppner is pleased to announce the appointment of David Bouhier as Southwest Regional Director effective January 1st.
David Bouhier’s management responsibilities, hitherto confined to the Vendée-Charentes region, henceforth encompass the Southwest region, a newly defined territory grouping some 12 sites: Agen, Angers, Bordeaux (3 sites), Cholet, Dax, La Rochelle, La Roche-sur-Yon, Niort, Toulouse and Pau.
Reporting directly to Philippe Cardot, Director of Ground Transport, David Bouhier is in charge of the operational and commercial activities of the different agencies that make up his region. He will take up new challenges, notably in international transport and logistics, two activities with strong value added that are confirming their role and contribution as principal growth vectors.
Around 400 people work at the Heppner sites in the Southwest, a region that generates some 40 million euros in revenue per year.
“Within the framework of our sales schema, the Southwest region and its newly defined structure today represents the most dynamic and dense in terms of volume of activity. It offers companies the economic fabric of regional, national and international solutions adapted to the local specificities of their clients,” comments Philippe Cardot.
David Bouhier is 39 years old and started his professional career in the transport sector (Transports Joyau et Graveleau). Between 2003 and 2004 he was Regional Sales Director at XP France, a company acquired by Heppner in 2004. Then in 2005 he was appointed Director of the Vendée-Charentes region. He has a BTS degree in Sales and Transport.
